The newly elected members of Titas Gas Engineers Association pose for photograph. KM Monirul Islam has been elected the president of Titas Gas Engineers Association and Shamsur Rahman its general secretary for the 2026-28 term.
The election to the 27-member executive committee of the association was held on April 30, says a press release, says a press statement.
Other elected office-bearers are as follows: Vice-Presidents -- Muhammad Abul Kawser, Mir Mubarak Hossain and Syed Anwarul Azim; Joint General Secretaries -- Md. Mizbah-ur-Rahman, Syed Mohammad Abu Sufian and Mamunor Rashid Chowdhury; Treasurer -- Mostaq Masud Md. Imran; Organising Secretary -- Mirza Shahnewaz Latif; Office Secretary -- Md. Golam Mohiuddin; Publicity and Publication Secretary -- S M Hasan Shahrier; Legal Affairs Secretary -- Mahmudur Rahman Rabbi; Application Secretary -- Toufiq Elahi Sabuj; Cultural Secretary - Raihan Kabir; Sports Secretary -- Md Shakil Mondol; Science and Technology Affairs Secretary -- Safayet Jamil; and Women's Affairs Secretary -- Israt Jahan.
The executive members are Md Rafiquzzaman, Md. Ershad Mahmud, Md. Mashiur Rahman, Md. Faizul Islam, Khorshed Alam, Md. Saifuzzaman Bhuiyan, Md. Nizam Uddin, Ishraq Ahmed and Md. Al Amin.
