Popular electronics brand 'Vision' recently hosted the 'Pithanondo Utshab' to celebrate and promote the traditional Bengali pitha-puli culture among urban people, says a press release.
The event featured a contest where ten contestants were awarded the Pithanondo Prize-2025 for showcasing their homemade pitha (homemade cake) creations.
The contestants showcased a variety of traditional pitha, including chitoi, dudh puli, khir kuli pitha, malpua, narkel pitha, and chui pitha.
Judges selected the ten winners based on taste, quality, and presentation. The winners were awarded a range of kitchen appliances, including Vision's conversion oven, microwave oven, multi blender, infrared cooker, sandwich maker, and kettle.
Farhad Hossain Mamnoon, Chief Operating Officer of Vision Electronics, handed over the prizes to the winners as the chief guest.
