17th Bangladesh Denim Expo begins in Dhaka Nov 4

The 17th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo is scheduled to take place on November 4-5 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka to showcase the country's thriving denim industry, reports UNB.
It will also bring together manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and designers from all over the world to explore the latest trends and innovations in denim production.
With the theme "The Blue New World," the two-day event will feature panel discussions, trend seminars, trend zone, and exhibitions.
"The Blue New World" lies in a new start, embodying eco-friendly practices, responsible fashion, new innovations, and trustworthy sourcing destinations, said the organizers.
Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo, Mostafiz Uddin said the garment industry in Bangladesh plays a crucial role in the nation's economy, serving as a significant contributor to foreign earnings.
The event will seek answers to a number of questions - what are the challenges facing the textile industry in Bangladesh, why is the textile industry in Bangladesh struggling, what opportunities exist in the textile industry in Bangladesh who benefits from the textile industry in Bangladesh.
"I think it is high time now that we come together to formulate a robust strategy that not only addresses these challenges but also capitalizes on the opportunities available. Together, we can ensure the industry's sustainable growth," Mostafiz said on Tuesday ahead of the event.
