AB Bank, under its CSR programme, has contributed Tk 20 million to the Chief Advisor's Relief and Welfare Fund to support the people suffering from devastating flood in the various parts of the country. The founder Chairman of the Bank, the members of the Board of Directors and shareholders of the bank have contributed to this fund. All the employees of the bank and its subsidiaries have also donated their one day's salary. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Additional Managing Director, along with Shawkat Aziz, Chief Business Officer of AB Bank, handed over the cheque to Faruk E Azam, Adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
