ACCA talks on ‘Ethics and trust’

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) organised a discussion on its report titled 'Ethics and Trust in a Digital Age' at a hotel in Dhaka recently, with Comptroller and Auditor General Masud Ahmed as the chief guest.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) recently organised a discussion on its report titled 'Ethics and Trust in a Digital Age' based on surveys carried out earlier this year, says a press statement.

Comptroller and Auditor General Masud Ahmed was the chief guest at the discussion held at a city hotel in Dhaka. Top management and officials of reputed private and public organisations took part in the event.

The participants included Thomas Liam Barry, finance director, ICCDR,B; Matiul Islam Nowshad, chief corporate and people officer, Robi Axiata Limited; Suraiya Zannat FCA, lead financial management specialist, The World Bank; and Md Arif-Al Islam FCCA, MD and CEO, Summit Communi-cations Ltd.

Rana Mohammod Masud, chief financial officer, Standard Chartered Bank, and CQK Mustaq Ahmed, chairman, Financial Reporting Council, were also present.
