Anwarul promoted to DMD of ONE Bank

Md. Anwarul Islam has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director of ONE Bank with effect from January 01, 2025.

Prior to his promotion as DMD, Mr Islam was the Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) & Chief Legal Officer and Head of Recovery Division, says a statement.

He began his banking career as a management trainee at the City Bank PLC in 2002. He last served the City Bank as Head of Court Operations in its Legal Division.

Mr Islam has extensive practical experience in banking operations, especially in Legal Affairs & Recovery, Retail Monitoring, and Special Asset Management. He obtained his LL.B & LL.M degrees from the University of Rajshahi.
