ASA to disburse over Tk 36b loan in Khulna

ASA has set a target to disburse loan worth Tk. 36.56 billion (3,656 crores) in Khulna Division during the current fiscal year of 2017-18. This was revealed by the divisional coordination meeting of the organisation held at Jessore recently. Meanwhile, ASA disbursed an amount of Tk. 17.44 billion loan among 500,000 clients of Khulna Division in the first six months of the current fiscal year. According to the meeting, the non-financial programme of ASA such as primary healthcare, education, sanitation, physiotherapy etc. will be strengthened too. Senior Deputy President of ASA M Abdul Aziz was present at the meeting as the chief guest. He urged the officials to work hard for achieving the target and maintaining quality of the programme. Md. Fayzer Rahman, EVP, Operations and Md. Taufiqul Islam Chowdhury, EVP, Accounts, MIS and Finance of ASA also spoke at the programme. — Statement
