Bashundhara Gas holds Safety Campaign in Ctg

Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, a concern of Bashundhara Group, started its 4th round nationwide awareness drive, 'Safety Campaign' recently. As part of the campaign, a workshop was held in Chittagong. Mir Tarikul Islam Faruk Rizvy, Head of Division, Sales, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, chaired the programme as the chief guest.

Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, a concern of Bashundhara Group, has started its 4th round nationwide awareness campaign titled, 'Safety Campaign' recently, says a statement.

As part of the campaign a workshop was held in Chittagong.

The statement said this initiative has been taken to ensure proper and safe use of LP Gas. This awareness campaign is going to be held throughout the country to increase the demand for LP gas and to ensure its proper household uses, it added.

Mir Tarikul Islam Faruk Rizvy, Head of Division, Sales, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, was present as the Chief Guest and chaired the workshop at a hotel in the port city.

He said: "LP Gas is a very easy fuel, it's easy to use and easy to carry as well. But we all should be aware of the quality of LPG Cylinder. To keep the cylinder safe, Bashundhara LP Gas marketed its cylinder after examination in the laboratory. This ensures that the best protection of its cylinder".

He added that Bashundhara LP Gas is organising the country-wide workshop to make housewives aware about the benefits and safety of LPG gas. "From corporate accountability we are always organising such campaigns for the awareness of homemakers/housewives throughout the country from Bashundhara LP Gas. It has already been successfully held in 30 districts", he added.

He then discussed and presented more information on LP gas utilisation and cautious tactics.

Media actress Dipa Khandakar was present at the workshop as a 'new dimension' of the programme.

Addressing the programme, she said this type of initiatives for women is really appreciable. "Housewives' spontaneous participation reflects the effectiveness of this workshop", she added.

She highlighted the reasons for the health hazards during the cooking, and she also gave an idea about the way to avoid it.

About 150 housewives participated in the workshop of public awareness. This campaign will be also held in more districts in addition to Sylhet, Jessore and Dhaka.

On behalf of Bashundhara LP Gas, senior officials of the 'sales and activation team' along with local distributors and eminent persons were also present.
