The Bangladesh Infra-structure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL) hosted its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Monday, says a press release.
In the meeting, the shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2023 and approved cash dividend of Tk 369.88 million in favour of the government of Bangladesh as the shareholders of BIFFL.
In 2023, the company earned a total revenue of Tk 3,069.73 million and made an after-tax profit of Tk 833.08 million.
Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Chairman of BIFFL and Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, presided over the AGM.
Other directors and shareholders including Md. Habibur Rahman, Senior Secretary, Power Division; Md. Monjur Hossain, Senior Secretary, Bridges Division; A B M Amin Ullah Nuri, Secretary, Road Transport and Highways Division; Mohammad Salahuddin, Secretary, The Prime Minister's Office; Md. Nurul Alam, Secretary, Energy and Mineral Resources Division; Md. Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Secretary, Economic Relations Division; Hasan Khaled Foisal, Additional Secretary, Finance Division; and S.M. Anisuzzaman, CEO of BIFFL, attended the meeting.
As shareholder's representative, Mohammad Manzarul Mannan, Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, joined the meeting.
Company Secretary of BIFFL Md. Atikul Islam and the representative of Statutory Auditor (Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co.) were also present in the meeting.
