Biman Bangladesh Airlines has arranged a special stretcher service with an attendant for student uprising victim Nabil Ahmed, facilitating his travel to Bangkok for advanced treatment.
On November 7, he was flown to Bangkok by a Biman flight, when special arrangements were ensured for his safe and comfortable journey.
"Biman has provided special assistance for Nabil at both Dhaka and Bangkok airports due to his condition," says a press release.
Earlier, Nabil received treatment in Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka after he suffered bullet wounds in the movement.
On October 20, Biman transported highly sensitive corneal tissue from Nepal to Bangladesh free of cost so that transplant surgeries could be performed on two people who suffered eye injuries in the same movement.
