Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced 15 per cent discount on its five international and seven domestic routes, marking the occasion of the travel and tourism fair to be held on April 18-20.
The travelers could also purchase tickets for 10 other international routes at 7.0 per cent discount from the Biman stall at the fair venue, Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), said a press release.
Biman is the title sponsor of the fair.
Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) will organise the three-day fair, which is expected to be inaugurated by President Abdul Hamid.
The five international routes are Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka, Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka, Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka, Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka and Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka.
The fare for the roundtrip will be Tk 16,582 for Kathmandu, Tk 25,544, for Yangon, Tk 18,337 for Bangkok, Tk 26,404 for Singapore and Tk 24,846 for Kuala Lumpur.
The seven domestic routes are Dhaka-Barisal, Dhaka-Chattogram, Dhaka-Cox's Bazar, Dhaka-Jashore, Dhaka-Rajshahi, Dhaka-Saidpur and Dhaka-Sylhet.
The one way fares are Tk 2,374 for Barisal, Tk 2,204 for Chattogram, Tk 3,224 for Cox's Bazar, Tk 2,374 for Jashore, Tk 2,374 for Rajshahi, Tk 2,374 for Syedpur and Tk 2,204 for Sylhet.
Anyone availing of the concession price must travel within six months from the day of purchasing the ticket.
