bKash account transaction limit raised

A customer from now on can send money up to a maximum of Tk 50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk 300,000 per month from bKash account.

At the same time, a customer can cash in a maximum of Tk 50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk 300,000 per month to bKash account to carry out all necessary transactions, says a statement.

The Payment Systems Department of the Bangladesh Bank issued a notification Thursday, increasing the daily and monthly transaction limits in mobile financial services (MFS) accounts.

Through this notification, the balance limit in bKash account has also been increased from Tk 300,000 to Tk 500,000.

This means, now a customer can deposit a maximum of Tk 500,000 in bKash account.
