BRAC Bank partners with fintech QuiqSend

Md. Shaheen Iqbal, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Treasury and Financial Institutions, BRAC Bank, and Md Abu Sufian, Founder & CEO of QuiqSend, signed a remittance agreement at the bank's Head Office in Dhaka on Sunday.

BRAC Bank has signed a remittance agreement with Australian fintech company, QuiqSend, to provide convenient app-based remittance sending experience to wage earners in the country, says a statement.

Techwest Pty Ltd (Trading as QuiqSend), a new money transfer startup, provides

fast, reliable, and cost-effective money transfer services globally. Regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC), the company offers a secure and user-friendly platform for customers to send money to their loved ones in Bangladesh.

With seamless API integration, remittances from QuiqSend to BRAC Bank will now be fully automated, real-time, and secure. Through this partnership, Probashi Bangladeshis residing in Australia can now conveniently and safely send their hard-earned remittances to BRAC Bank accountholders, elevating their banking experience.

This partnership will add to the rapidly growing global remittance footprint of the bank to cater to Bangladeshi wage earners. This collaboration marks a significant step in expanding the bank's international remittance footprint and supports its strategic vision for long-term growth in this domain.
