Branch-based banking begins at Al-Arafah Islami Bank today

After the successful completion of the Core Banking System (CBS) upgrade programme at Al-Arafah Islami Bank, only cash transactions and branch-based banking services resumes today.

The CBS upgrade has been undertaken to enhance technological capacity, build a modern banking infrastructure, and ensure safer, faster, and uninterrupted banking services for customers, says a press release.

The upgrade programme has been implemented in line with the ongoing technology-driven transformation in the banking sector, with the objective of providing international-standard banking services. As a result, the bank's information technology infrastructure has been further strengthened, and its capacity to deliver future-oriented digital banking services has increased significantly.
