BSMRMU holds 16th syndicate meeting

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU), Bangladesh, held its 16th syndicate meeting at the conference room of the temporary campus at Pallabi in the capital recently.

BSMRMU Vice-Chancellor Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal presided over the meeting, says a statement.

Various important matters of the university were discussed and decisions were taken unanimously.

Important topics, discussed at the meeting, included organising the first convocation of the university, decision on opening up of institutes, faculties and departments within next three years and approval of proposed weekend for 2018 of the university.

The syndicate members expressed their satisfaction over overall activities of the university.

BSMRMU is a maritime public university which specialises in marine resources, shipping and other matters related to maritime resources and blue economy.
