CCCI opens Ramadan food sale

CHATTOGRAM, May 17: The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched a month-long sale of Ramadan foods at subsidised rate for the low-income and poor people in the port city.

CCCI President Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the sale programme in front of the Chamber House, former CCCI office, at Agrabad. CCCI Vice President Syed Jamal Ahmed, directors Ahid Siraj Chowdhury (Swapan), Md Zahurul Alam, Anjan Shekhar Das, Abdul Mannan Sohail and Tarafdar Ruhul Amin were present.

Mahbubul Alam said the CCCI, apart from contributing to national development, is carrying out humanitarian activities as part of its social responsibility.
