Ctg Butterfly Park's beauty bewitches tourism minister

CHITTAGONG, Jan 15: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal visited the Butterfly Park, a concern of Intraco Group, at Patenga in the city.
Accompanied by chairman of Intraco Group HM Hakim Ali, the minister went round the park yesterday.
Bewitched to see the setting of the butterfly park, Mr Shahjahan said this sort of park will not only help one to pass leisure time but will also assist children and students to learn many things about how to preserve nature and environment.
Mr Ali told the minister that the butterfly park, first of its kind in Bangladesh, was established in an area of three acres of land beside Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport.
He said it is a tropical garden with numerous butterflies and is one of the most pleasant places for families and visitors to enjoy.
Natural beauties surrounding Live Butterfly Zone, Butterfly Museum, Butterfly Reading Room, nursery and party hall with abundance of flowers, artificial lake, waterfalls, snap zone, fish feeding zone, butterfly feeding zone, recreation zone and children's playing zone with boating facilities enchanted the minister and other guests.
Hundreds of schoolchildren, visitors and picnickers from far and near enjoy the scenic beauties of the butterfly park every day.
There is also a restaurant inside the park. It is considered as one of the most exceptional tourist spots for local visitors and tourists.
