Delta Life Insurance holds 39th AGM

The 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd was held virtually on Saturday.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder presided over the AGM. Independent Director Barrister Fida M Kamal, Members of the Board of Directors, Additional Secretary Ministry of Finance Azimuddin Biswas (as observer), External Auditors, Representatives of BSEC, DSE & CSE, Independent Scrutinizer, shareholders of the company and officers concerned joined the meeting, says a statement.

The shareholders approved the audited accounts for the financial year 2024 and 30% cash dividend against the face value of per share (Tk 10).

In the closing speech of the AGM, the Chairman of the company said, "We are extremely proud that Delta Life has been operating with honesty and gaining people's trust, consistently providing 30% dividend over the past few years. In an insurance company, claim settlement is the key issue, where the company's management expects 100% performance. In this regard, Delta Life Insurance has been able to earn recognition in society, which has helped the company become well-established today. Delta Life is a prime example of how a company can be developed through honest business practices."
