EBL Partners with Akij Takaful to offer Islamic Life Insurance

Eastern Bank (EBL) has entered into a bancassurance partnership with Akij Takaful Life Insurance to offer a range of Shariah-compliant life insurance solutions to its customers. The introduction of takaful products through EBL's extensive branch network will make Islamic life insurance more accessible to a broader customer base, helping to protect and secure families while aligning with their faith-based values. M Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking and Chief Bancassurance Officer of EBL, and Mohammad Masuduzzaman Khan, DMD and Chief Corporate Business Officer of Akij Takaful Life Insurance, signed the agreement and exchanged the documents at EBL head office in Dhaka recently.
