EBL partners with Moner Bondhu to provide free mental health services

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has announced a partnership with Moner Bondhu to provide free mental health and wellbeing services to women workers in the ready-made garments (RMG) sector. This initiative, under EBL's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, is set to benefit over 5,000 women through Moner Bondhu's exclusive counselling and well-being services. Ahmed Shaheen, Additional Managing Director of EBL, handed over a cheque for the programme to Tawhida Shiropa, founder and CEO of Moner Bondhu, at a ceremony held at EBL's head office in Dhaka on Sunday. Moner Bondhu Director Architect Tasbir Shatil, Head of Mental Health Program and Lead Psychosocial Counselor Kazi Rumana Haque; EBL Head of Communications and External Affairs Ziaul Karim; Company Secretary Md. Abdullah Al Mamun were present.
