EBL, SQ Group Sign Payroll Banking Agreement

Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL), a leading private commercial bank of the country, has signed a payroll banking agreement with SQ Group, a top manufacturer of electrical products, at the EBL's head office at Dhaka recently. M. Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking of EBL; and A.Z.M. Monjurul Quader, Chairman, SQ Electricals Ltd. (a concern of SQ Group); signed the agreement. Under the agreement, employees of SQ Group will enjoy a range of EBL exclusive banking services, including privilege of accessing dual-currency debit cards, and benefit from a variety of loan options tailored to meet their financial needs.
