Acting Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University Hamidul Haque Khan seen at 'Meet the Press' on Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) at the university auditorium on Tuesday The Global Entrepre-neurship Week (GEW) 2018 will be observed in the country from November 12 to 17, says a press statement.
The Daffodil International University (DIU) has organised the week-long event.
Project Director of A2i Project of the Prime Minister's Office will inaugurate the event as the chief guest, organisers told a 'Meet the Press' at the 71 Milonayoton of the university in the city on Tuesday.
Discussion, a seminar on 'Entrepreneurship Development in Bangladesh', Business proposal competition among talented and potential youths of the country and an entrepreneurs' meet will be held during the week.
A Start-Up Fair will also be held with the participation of students and alumni of the Daffodil International University.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week will be celebrated in 170 countries around the world, said the organisers.
Hamidul Haque Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, briefed the journalists on the upcoming event.
Munir Hassan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Open Source Network (bdosn), Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director of Student Affairs, Abu Taher Khan, Director (CDC), and Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship Mohammad Shibli Shahriar also spoke.
