EWU club holds workshop on 'Agro Biz Supply Chain'

The EWU Agro Industrialisation Club organised an indoor workshop on 'Agro Biz Supply Chain' for the participants of the ongoing inter-university agro-based supply chain competition on Monday.
This year, the club is arranging the competition titled 'EWU Supply Chain Challenge 2.0 Powered by PFEC Global' for the second time.
It is the nation's biggest inter-university agro-based supply chain competition, says a press statement.
Nahid Hasan Khan, Head of Career Counselling Centre and Advisor of the Department of Student's Welfare, East West University (EWU), inaugurated the event.
Supply chain expert Rokeya Sultana was the resource person at the workshop attended by around 180 participants from 79 registered teams.
Moderators, executives, secretaries and general members of the club were also present.
The workshop helped the participants understand the importance of supply chain management in the agricultural industry.
At the end of the workshop, a problem case was given to the participants.
A total of 252 teams from 31 public and private universities in Bangladesh are participating in the competition.
