'Excelerate Hope Hospital' opens in Moheshkhali

Excelerate Energy, in collaboration with the Hope Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh, has officially inaugurated the first phase of the Excelerate Hope Hospital in Kutubjom, Moheshkhali of Cox's Bazar.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including government officials, Excelerate Energy representatives, and Hope Foundation members.
The newly inaugurated Excelerate Hope Hospital spans 17,280 square feet and will begin providing outpatient care immediately. It will eventually become a modern 30-bed healthcare facility, equipped with medical equipment. Designed to serve the residents of Moheshkhali, especially women and children, the hospital aims to address healthcare disparities in the region and further solidifies Excelerate Energy and the Hope Foundation's shared commitment to improving lives.
At the opening ceremony the welcome speech was delivery by Commodore (ret.) Habib Bhuiyan, Country Manager of Excelerate Energy Bangladesh Limited. Peter Haas, Strategic Advisor at Excelerate Energy, also addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of the initiative in improving healthcare access for underserved communities.
Lutfey Siddiqi, Chief Adviser's Special Envoy on International Affairs, joined the ceremony via Zoom.
