Fire at RMG factory in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 05: One ready made garment (RMG) factory named Infinia Neat Dying Limited was gutted in a fire on Saturday at Kadam Rasul area under Sitakunda in Chattogram.

The fire incident took place at the factory area at around 11 am this morning. The fire is suspected to have originated from electric short circuit.

Four fire fighter vehicles rushed to the spot and controlled the fire after two and a half hours. However, there were no casualties reported.

Deputy Assistant Director of Fire Brigade Mohammed Ali Akber said, "The fire-fighters rushed to the spot promptly, and controlled the fire as soon as possible. The loss in the fire is yet to be known."

Locals said that huge goods were gutted in the fire. They also suspected that the loss of the fire accident might be worth millions.
