A four-day REHAB Fair 2025 will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) aiming to promote the country's real estate sector.
The flagship trade show of the sector is expected to create a major matchmaking platform for the buyers and sellers at a single spot of the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre in the city's Agargaon area.
Leaders of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), the real estate trade body which is organising the showcase, made the announcement at a press conference held at CIRDAP auditorium in the city's Topkhana area on Monday.
A total of 220 stalls will be set up at the 27th edition of the fair, including those of realtors, 14 of building material manufacturing companies and 12 of financial institutions.
REHAB President Md. Wahiduzzaman, Senior Vice President Liakat Ali Bhuiyan and Vice President Mohammad Akhtar Biswas spoke on the occasion, among others.
Mr Wahiduzzaman said REHAB member companies have been working tirelessly for more than three decades with the goal of ensuring safe housing for present and future generations.
According to the organisers, the inauguration will take place at 11:00 am at the venue's 'Hall of Fame' conference room. On the first day, visitors will be allowed to enter the fair after the inaugural session.
On other days, the fair will remain open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Two types of tickets will be available--single-entry and multiple-entry.
The single-entry ticket is priced at Tk50, while the multiple-entry ticket costs Tk 100, allowing a visitor to enter the fair up to five times.
The entire proceeds from ticket sales will be used for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for the underprivileged.
Attractive prizes will be offered through a raffle draw with each entry ticket. As in previous years, raffle draw will be held daily at 9:00 pm at the end of the fair, featuring prizes throughout all five days. Each ticket will also include free refreshments.
