Fresh Anonna launches special campaign

May 26, 2026 00:00:00

With a view to promoting period awareness and encouraging open conversations around menstrual health, sanitary napkin brand Fresh Anonna, a concern of Meghna Group of Industries, has launched a special campaign titled "Pad Ache, Lagbe?" marking Menstrual Hygiene Day which is observed on May 28 every year, says a press release.

Through this initiative, Fresh Anonna aims to normalise conversations around periods and improve access to sanitary napkins for underprivileged women and adolescent girls.

Tasnim Mostafa, director of Meghna Group of Industries, said: "Many girls in Bangladesh still feel uncomfortable talking openly about periods. A large number of women and girls also remain vulnerable to severe health risks due to a lack of access to sanitary napkins. We want to remove the discomfort and hesitation surrounding menstruation so that no girl ever feels ashamed of a natural biological process. Through the 'Pad Ache, Lagbe?' campaign, we want to spread both awareness and empathy among people."

As part of the initiative, the company will distribute free sanitary napkins among disadvantaged women and girls in different parts of the country.

For every sanitary napkin purchased from selected vending machines and for every campaign content shared from the official Fresh Anonna Facebook page, the brand will contribute sanitary napkins to those in need.

The campaign, which will begin on social media on May 24, will continue until June 15.
