Gold Kinen launches monthly gold savings feature

Gold Kinen, Bangladesh's first gold purchase app, has made gold savings easy, accessible, and convenient for everyone by introducing an automatic monthly gold savings feature, with users allowed to pay through bKash for their purchases.

The new "auto gold save" feature on the app lets users set up monthly gold savings targets, with the amount ranging from Tk 1,000 to Tk 50,000, which will be automatically deducted from their designated bKash account on the pre-set dates upon their consent.

This unique feature provides a hands-free way to build a regular savings portfolio in gold, mirroring familiar monthly savings plans, according to a press release on Monday.

The initiative is expected to inspire people to take their first step toward gold purchase and promote a shift toward smart gold savings, aligning with the company's broader goals of accelerating financial inclusion and savings propensity as well as amplifying financial literacy.

Users can enjoy 5 per cent cashback (up to Tk 5,000 per month) on gold purchased via bKash payments. The offer will be valid throughout November and December 2024.
