Government on highway of dev, says Qamrul

Food Minister Qamrul Islam has said that the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is running on the highway of development.

He said Bangladesh will become a middle income country by 2021 and developed country in 2041.

"Bangladesh under the firm leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now running on the highway of development. The country will become a middle income country by 2021 and developed country in 2041. Now we have no time to look back," he said while addressing a Victory Day rally, organised by Keraniganj Upazila Parishad on Saturday, reports BSS.

Presided over by Keraniganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahe Elid Mainul Amin, the rally was addressed by upazilla chairman Shahin Ahmed, upazilla muktijoddha commander Md Shahjahan and Eusuf Alia Chowdhury Selim, among others.

All the freedom fighters and families of Liberation War martyrs were given reception at the programme.
