'Govt achieves tremendous success in different sectors'

Speakers at a programme have said the government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, achieved tremendous success in different sectors in the last ten years, reports BSS.

"If the development trends continue, Bangladesh will be a middle-income country by 2021 and developed one by 2041 undoubtedly side by side with achieving the sustainable development goals by 2030 declared by UNDP", they said at a discussion in Gaibandha.

The discussion was organised by the district information office of information ministry's mass communication department under a publicity activity titled 'Sammriddhi Agrojattray Bangladesh'.

Chair by Sadullapur Upazila Nirbaji Officer (UNO) M. Nabineoaz, the function was attended by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abdul Matin as the chief guest.
