Govt announces National Youth Entrepreneurship Dev Policy

The Ministry of Youth and Sports issued a notification announcing the National Youth Entrepreneurship Development Policy-2025 on Monday, reports BSS.

The notification, signed by Youth and Sports Secretary Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam said, the policy aims to transform unemployed youth into entrepreneurs by providing loan facilities of up to Taka 10 lakh, along with export-related support, including tax and duty exemptions.

The policy has been formulated keeping in view several key priorities, including creating self-employment opportunities, encouraging technology-based entrepreneurship and developing necessary infrastructure for young innovators. The ministry will implement the policy with a special focus on generating new employment.
