GPH Ispat honours meritorious students of Sitakunda

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 27: GPH Ispat organised a grand reception titled "GPH Shining Stars Recognition-2025" on Saturday to appreciate the talents of students from the Sitakunda region who achieved GPA-5 in the HSC and Alim examinations.

The event was held on the GPH Ispat plant premises in Kumira. Speaking as the chief guest, Mohammed Almas Shimul, Additional Managing Director of GPH Ispat, urged the youth to contribute to the nation's growth. "Instead of seeking opportunities abroad, you must use your talents to serve this promising country and repay your debt to the motherland," he stated.

He further highlighted the company's commitment to national development, noting that GPH Ispat-a pioneer in producing earthquake-resistant and high-strength 600-grade steel-is now investing in research-based education. Mr. Shimul encouraged students to pursue quality education and holistic life practices, while also pledging continued support for meritorious and underprivileged students in Sitakunda.
