Guardian Life Insurance paid first insurance claim

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has paid the first insurance claim under the microinsurance agreement with Bank Asia at a formal event recently. The life insurer paid out the entire loan of a borrower of Bank Asia's Agent Banking service after he passed away. Mohammad Sajjadul Karim, Deputy Managing Director, Guardian Life; Sardar Akhtar Hamid, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Channel Banking Division, Bank Asia; and other officials were present at the event.
