Guardian Life Insurance Limited settled over 150,000 insurance claims in 2024.
The company has been able to win the trust of its customers by efficiently settling 95 per cent of claims within only three working days and over Tk 2.41 billion were paid out for 36,000 death claims, says a statement.
Meanwhile, Tk 1.09 billion were paid to cover health and medical expenses, while over Tk 890 million was paid for policy maturity and other claims.
In 2024, the insurance company cumulatively settled insurance claims worth Tk 4.39 billion.
Sheikh Rakibul Karim, Additional Managing Director and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life, remarked, "At Guardian Life, we are committed to the vision of 'Insurance for All' and have already extended coverage to over 12.6 million individuals.
