Guardian Life settles Tk 1.29b in insurance claims in Q1 of 2025

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has settled insurance claims amounting to around Tk 1.29 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, says a statement.
The total settlement includes Tk 770 million in death insurance claims and Tk 390 million in health-related insurance claims. Policy maturity and other claims accounted for around 130 million.
One of Guardian's major goals is to settle insurance claims fast. To achieve this goal, 95 per cent of insurance claims were settled within just three working days in the previous quarter.
In addition, the life insurer is ensuring insurance services for employees of more than 450 local and multinational organisations.
In the first quarter of this year, the country's leading telecommunications company Robi and many other renowned organisations joined hands with Guardian to get corporate services.
At the same time, the company has brought more than 12.6 million people of the country under insurance services.

As a reflection of our commitment to settle insurance claims quickly, we are paying insurance claims within just three working days."
