Guardian Life Insurance is set to cover the life and health of the employees of Rancon Holdings Limited.
The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday in Dhaka for the purpose.
The Guardian Life Insurance will insure a total of 1,500 employees of the Rancon including 1,000 family members under the agreement. The MoU will include 22 associates' organisations of Rancon Holdings.
Under this policy, benefits include insurance for natural death, accidental death, permanent total disability and permanent partial disability of the employee (as per the policy).
Medical insurance will also be provided to the employees and nearest ones' for the treatment at home and abroad in selected hospitals.
Guardian Life Insurance's Managing Director and CEO MM Monirul Alam and Rancon Holdings Limited's Group Chief Human Resources Officer Kaiser Chowdhury signed the MoU on behalf of their respective companies.
Rancon's Shahriar Harun, Director of People and Technology; Ataur Rahman, Vice President; Shahidul Islam, Director of Finance; Kaiser Chowdhury, Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior officers were present at the function.
From Guardian Life's Md Mazharul Islam Rana, seniour vice president & Head Group Insurance Department, Rubayet Saleheen, senior vice president & head of marketing & communication department, Md Abu Hanif, assistant vice president of group life business department, Md Asraful Haque, senior vice president and chief medical consultant of head of claims department, and Hedayet Basher, assistant vice president of group insurance department, were also present.
