Humayun Kabir promoted to DMD of Bengal Commercial Bank

Bengal Commercial Bank has promoted Md Humayun Kabir, SEVP & Company Secretary, to Deputy Managing Director (DMD), says a statement.

Humayun Kabir joined Bengal Commercial Bank in 2018 as Executive Vice President & Company Secretary. He played a vital role in the entire preliminary work in relation to formation of the bank as well as in the bank's overall development since its inception.

Mr Kabir started off his banking career with Social Islami Bank in 2000. During his 24 years of professional career, he assumed various significant roles, including Head of Share Department & Company Secretary of SIBL and CEO of SIBL Securities.

Mr Kabir is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB).
