ICMAB elects new office bearers for 2026

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has recently elected its new office bearers during a council meeting for the year 2026.

At the meeting, Md. Kausar Alam FCMA was elected President of the Institute, while Abdul Matin Patwary FCMA and S. M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA were elected as Vice-Presidents, says a press release.

On the other hand, Monjur Md. Shaiful Azam FCMA was elected Secretary, and Professor Dr. Md. Musfiqur Rahman FCMA was elected Treasurer.

Md. Kausar Alam, the newly-elected President, is currently serving as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary of Seven Rings Cement Bangladesh Ltd.

He is also a Director of Janata Bank PLC and an Honorary Director of ARK Foundation, a social development NGO. He previously served ICMAB as Vice-President and Secretary. He is also an ACA from England FCS and FCCA.
