The inauguration ceremony took place Friday at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium. Dr. Md. Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, Chairman, Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Bangladesh was present as the Session Chairman at the first technical session on 'VAT & VAT Accounting'.
ICMAB President Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA presided over the workshop. Past President SAFA and Chairman of ICMAB Seminar & Conference Committee A. K. M. Delwer Hussain FCMA delivered a welcome speech. ICMAB Vice-President Md. Munirul Islam FCMA delivered the vote of thanks.
Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, Treasurer, ICMAB and fellow member Mallik Intaqab Ahsan FCMA presented the technical paper on 'VAT & VAT Accounting'. Md. Mashiur Rahaman ACMA, Joint Commissioner, NBR, was present as a discussant.
