Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) achieved significant recognition at the prestigious Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards 2026 held in Singapore recently.
The state-owned financial institution was named "Project Finance House of the Year" by The Asset, a premier Asian financial publication. The awards celebrate Asia's top banks, investors, and development finance institutions driving sustainable infrastructure and project finance.
At the same ceremony, IDCOL was also honoured with "Renewable Energy Deal of the Year" for the USD 67 million syndicated financing of Bangladesh-China Renewable Energy Company (Pvt.) Ltd's 64.55 MW grid-tied solar power plant in Pabna.
Alamgir Morshed, Managing Director of IDCOL, expressed his sincere gratitude to The Asset for acknowledging IDCOL's contributions. He thanked all stakeholders for their continued strong support and belief in IDCOL, noting that these international awards are a testament to IDCOL's substantial work in financing sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
Both awards were received on behalf of IDCOL by Sazzad Hossain, AVP, Advisory Services, at the ceremony in Singapore.
