Int'l tourism fair begins in Ctg today

The three-day first international tourism fair, Galileo Chittagong Travel Mart-2009 organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, begins in Chittagong today (Thursday), said a press release.
Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism Engineer Mosharraf Hossain will inaugurate the fair at the Peninsula Chittagong as the chief guest.
Editor of the Dainik Azadi, a daily of Chittagong, MA Abdul Malek will be the chief guest on the occasion.
A total of 19 organisations from home and abroad, including airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, amusement parks and organisations related with tourism will exhibit their products and services at the fair.
There will be special discounts on air tickets, hotel rooms, tour packages and other products and services of the organisations during the fair.
The fair will remain open for visitors between 10am and 8pm until August 1.
