Int'l Women's SME Expo begins in Ctg tomorrow

The 15th International Women's SME Expo Bangladesh 2026 will begin in Chattogram tomorrow (Saturday), bringing together local and international entrepreneurs with a focus on promoting women-led businesses.

The month-long fair, organised by the Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, will be held at Bangladesh Railway Stadium polo ground. CCC Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain will formally inaugurate the expo.

The organisers announced the expo at a press conference held at the Chattogram Press Club on Thursday, says a press statement.

Entrepreneurs from China, Thailand, India and Pakistan, alongside participants from Bangladesh, will join the expo. Around 350 stalls and 20 pavilions will be set up at the fair venue, with 100 stalls reserved for women entrepreneurs.

A major highlight of the expo will be the '7th SME Banking Match-Making Fair 2026', to be held with the support of Bangladesh Bank.

CWCCI President Abida Mostafa presided over the event while Luthmela Farid, Chairperson of the 15th International Women's SME Expo Bangladesh 2026 and Senior Vice-President of CWCCI, presented a written statement outlining the overall preparations and related aspects of the fair.
