Md Jashim Uddin
Md Jashim Uddin, a reputed banker, has joined Bangladesh Development Bank PLC as Managing Director and CEO on Wednesday, says a statement.
The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance has recently appointed him. Prior to joining Bangladesh Development Bank, Mr Jashim was Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC.
Nr Jasim started off his career at Janata Bank in 1988 as a senior officer. He has served as the manager of various branches of the bank, zonal head, head of divisional offices and General Manager of various departments of the head office. Later, he also served as the DMD of Karmasangsthan Bank.
He obtained BA (Hons.) & MA degrees from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. He also obtained an MBA degree from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
