A two-part international seminar, under the aegis of Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Limited (BNO Lubricants), was held at Hotel Agrabad in Chattogram city recently, says a statement.
In the first half of the day-long seminar, Regional Director for South-East Asia and Japan of FMSI Singapore Pte. Limited Kjell Sudenius and Head of Sales Support Patrick Ang demonstrated the efficiency of scrubber system in reducing the amount of sulfur in the fuel (from 6.5 per cent to 5.4 per cent) to face the challenges of IMO-2020.
In the second half, Managing Director of AB Nanotechnologies Sweden Tania Ellich presented her essay on the effectiveness and usefulness of nanotechnology as a new technology in lubricants. Chairman of Ikra Power Limited Mahbub Morshed also attended the programme.
Besides, General Manager (Technical) of Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Limited Dr. Khandaker Zakir Hossain presented an article on the incorporation and use of nanotechnology in the marine sector products of BNO Lubricants in presence of Managing Director Mohammad Yousuf.
