CHITTAGONG, Mar 12: The Chittagong Branch Council of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) elected its new office-bearers for 2018 at a meeting held recently in the port city, a statement said.
Qazi Meraz Uddin Arif FCMA and Mohammad Saiful Islam FCMA have been elected chairman and secretary respectively.
The council also elected Md Moazzem Haider FCMA and Kanchan Chandra Shom FCMA as vice-chairman and treasurer respectively.
Qazi Meraz Uddin Arif is a senior finance executive of the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) while Saiful Islam deputy general manager (accounts) in the PHP Family.
Moazzem Haider is the managing director of A4B Garments Ltd while Kanchan Chandra Shom assistant general manager (accounts) of Padma Oil Company Ltd.
