A new outlet of Metro Mart, one of Bangladesh's leading superstore chains and a concern of Akij Venture Group, has recently been inaugurated in Sector 9 of the upscale Uttara area in Dhaka. Syed Joynul Abedin, Chief Executive Officer of Akij Venture Limited, opened it by cutting a ribbon at a ceremony. Unlike many superstores that are heavily stocked with high-priced imported products, Akij Metro Mart offers customers a distinctly different experience.
