Moniruzzaman new managing director of IIFC

Md. Moniruzzaman joined as the Managing Director of Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) on Sunday, says a press statement.
Prior to that, he served as Chairman and CEO of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation, a renowned government corporation under the Ministry of Industries.
Mr Moniruzzaman had joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) in 1993 after the completion of Master's degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. He also accomplished MBA (Finance) degree from the University of Dhaka in 2008.
He has 32 years' experience in Public Administration, of which 8 years in the field-level and 24 years in policy-level job. He worked in the Local Govt. Division, Ministry of LGRD & Cooperatives, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Public Administration, Bridges Division, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Finance Division, and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
He also worked as Deputy Project Director (Finance and Admin) in a World Bank-financed project for BBS.
IIFC is a well-known consulting company in Bangladesh under Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, which provides technical assistance services in various fields, including public and private procurement and PPP transaction, research and survey.
