DIFE wins accolade for e-filing
The Department of Inspection for Factory and Establishments (DIFE) has won accolade from the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) for its achievement in electronic filing (E-filing) management. Secretary in charge of the MoLE Afroza Khan handed over a crest to the DIFE inspector general (IG) in recognition of this at a ceremony on Tuesday at the ministry, a statement said. According to it, the DIFE secured the top place for the third time in one month in e-filing management among 180 government offices in the weekly ranking announced by the a2i project. The Access to Information (a2i) project under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) works for facilitating public services through innovation and technology. The DIFE adopted the e-filing system in February last. The organisation secured the top place on also November 12, 26 and December 10, the statement added.— FE Report
