ADN, Aptech sign partnership deal
ADN Eduservices Limited, a unit of ADN Group, has signed a partnership agreement with Aptech International as the officially-accredited franchise for Aptech Learning Centre in Bangladesh. Aptech Learning includes Aptech Computer Education (ACE), Aptech Hardware and Network Academy (AHNA) and Aptech English Learning Academy (AELA). The signing ceremony was held recently between the two companies at ADN office. Through this agreement, ADN becomes the exclusive partner of Aptech International for its professional training and learning in Bangladesh. ADN Eduservices is a leading institution dedicated to improving skills by turning knowledge into practice, starting from the basic and foundation courses to the more complex courses such as project management and programming. The modalities include instructor led, e-learning and blended learning solutions, which are also customisable based on the needs of the individual or organisation. This partnership will help in harnessing the goal and driving youth employment through providing the industry's demand-driven skills training and provide organisations and individuals with a complete and comprehensive training on IT software. It will also create a big platform for Bangladeshi students who will no longer need to study abroad to achieve this certificate. The ceremony was attended by ADN Group chairman Asif Mahmood, ADN managing director Tapan Kanti Sharkar, and senior manager of business development-international of Aptech International Som Baksi. Lankan Airlines celebrates first anniversary of Dhaka operation
Sri Lankan Airlines completed the first year of its operations in Bangladesh. Officials of the national carrier of Sri Lanka celebrated the first anniversary by cutting cake at a function at its Dhaka Office in Banani area recently. Sri Lankan Airlines Country Manager Shermal Perera, Bangladesh General Sales Agent (GSA) Chairman Mahbubul Anam, Managing Director Md. Mizanur Rahman and General Manager Aruna Ratnayake were, among others, present on the occasion. Representatives from different travel agencies, airlines appreciated the officials for completing the first year of operations in Bangladesh. Recently, the United Kingdom-based travel recognition 'World Travel Awards' accorded the airline with the 'World's Leading Airline to the Indian Ocean' title. The airline operates daily flight between Dhaka and Colombo as departs Dhaka on 01:00 PM every day and arrives in the Bangladesh capital on 11.30 AM after departing Colombo on 07.45 AM every morning. — Statement
