Novoair offers

special Eid fare

Novoair has offered special discounts on three domestic routes to their passengers on the occasion of holy Eid-Ul Fitr. Passengers can travel from Jashore, Saidpur and Rajshahi to Dhaka during June 12-15 and from Dhaka to Jashore, Saidpur and Rajshahi during June 17-20 with a fare as low as Tk 2018 per person. Apart from the existing schedule, Novoair will operate two additional flights daily from Saidpur, Jashore and Rajshahi during June 12-15. Novoair has recently announced a 10 per cent discount on the ticket price for mobile app users, which is also applicable to these offers, said a press release. — UNB

Ceremony'

Modhumoti Bank Limited organised a 'Thanksgiving Ceremony' to congratulate the Team Safety Net of Modhumoti Digital Banking on their brilliant performance at its head office recently. Deputy Managing Director of the bank Kazi Ahsan Khalil was present as the chief guest. SEVP and Head of SME & Retail Banking Division Md Shaheen Howlader, EVP and Chief Technical Officer Sufi Tofail Ahamed, SVP and Head of Agent Banking Operation Moklesur Rahman and other high officials were also present. Under the Safety Net programme, Sheikh Fajilatunnessa Mujib Eye Hospital Branch of Modhumoti Bank opened around 17,000 accounts.

bKash signs deal with Sonali Bank

bKash Limited, a mobile financial service provider, signed an agreement with the Sonali Bank recently, enabling bKash customers to make e-challan payment for all types of fees through bKash accounts. Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Sonali Bank Md Obayed Ullah Al Masud and Chief Executive Officer of bKash Kamal Quadir signed the agreement at a ceremony held at a city hotel recently. Chairman of Sonali Bank Md Ashraful Moqbul, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Md Azizul Alam attended the programme. Under the partnership, bKash customers will now be able to pay the e-challan fees from their own bKash accounts without any additional charge. To make the payment though bKash, the customers will have to fill in the e-challan (SIG) form, then have to go to 'payment method' section to select 'online payment'. — Statement
